City of Pantone started with a collection of Pantone postcards and me walking aimlessly around the city to match the color of the card with a building, flowers from the Union Square Green Market, or wall art in Soho. The project fizzled out and returned years later. City of Pantone- New York is a collection of images taken on my Iphone going back to 2016. Each spread has 4-5 colors extracted from the photo and the coordinates to create a scavenger hunt feel. City of Pantone will hit many different cities and soon become a series.
